This is the fifth year running National Holidays – the UK’s leading specialist in short breaks and holidays by coach – will be lead sponsor at Europe’s largest open air theatre.

A record-breaking 60,000 music fans have already bought tickets for shows at Scarborough OAT in 2017 featuring such legendary and chart-topping acts as The Beach Boys, Cliff Richard, Tom Jones, Little Mix, Olly Murs and Kaiser Chiefs.

And National Holidays, who offer music fans travel packages to concerts and festivals across the UK and Europe, are delighted to return as main sponsor for what promises to be a sensational year of live music on the beautiful Yorkshire coast.

Martin Lock, Commercial Director at National Holidays, said: “We’re really excited to be celebrating five years working with the Scarborough Open Air Theatre. Where else can you see acts from Madness, The Beach Boys to Olly Murs under the beautiful Yorkshire sky?

“Our customers snap up short breaks to see shows at the theatre combined with seamless luxury coach travel, transfers and accommodation, and we’re looking forward to another jam-packed summer of events this year.”

Scarborough Open Air Theatre is on course for a sensational year as more music fans than ever before will head to the Yorkshire coast this summer.

Cuffe and Taylor director Peter Taylor said: “We are delighted to welcome National Holidays as main sponsor of Scarborough Open Air Theatre.

“Their continued support is vital in enabling us to be able to bring some of the biggest and best music acts to this wonderful venue.

“They also offer fantastic travel packages which enable fans from all over the country to not only visit shows here at the OAT, but also holiday here in this stunning part of the UK.

“More than 60,000 people have already secured their tickets for what promises to be another sensational year of live music here in Scarborough. We cannot wait for the first show on May 24 when the legendary Beach Boys kick-off the 2017 season.”

Following The Beach Boys will be Yorkshire’s very own Kaiser Chiefs on May 27 before indie legends The Charlatans on June 16 and pop legends The Jacksons on June 17.
